Thanksgiving Turkey Cake
Thanksgiving Day is a day to said thank you for all the good and bad thing that happen in our lives, it is a day to share what we have with families and friends and give to other less fortunate as much as we can. You can share this Thanksgiving Turkey Cake with others, this cake can be the center on your table on Thanksgiving Day; to do this cake I used a snowmen and shell cake pan. It is a fun cake to do, and it’s not difficult to make and decorate it. The shell will be split into two parts and in the middle will be the snowmen, then will be decorated with Buttercream icing in different colors to make it look like a turkey.

(Orange, Christmas Red, Leaf Green, Golden Yellow,Royal Blue, Black)
Instructions:
- Bake the cakes.
- Cut the shell cake in half lengthwise.
- Position the pieces of cake alongside the snowman cake on the board; the snowman will be lithely on top of the shell pieces.
- Get one decorating bag, put inside the bag, the coupler base, get the tip #2B, and slip it into the coupler base and twist the coupler ring over the tip, locking it in place.
- Get some buttercream icing and add brown color, need to be a lite color.
- Add that mix inside the bag and start decorating the shell with that color; smooth the icing with a decorating spatula.
- Get some of the icing in separate bowls and add individually the color red, yellow and orange.
- Prepare a bag with a red color, get the decorating tip #18, pipe scalloped outlines of the shell cake. Repeat the same step with the other two color, to make three lines of scallop outline the cake.
- With orange icing, ice pumpkin area and smooth.
- With black icing and tip #2B, pipe band on the hat.
- Using tip #4 string outline around collar and eyes.
- Pipe-in with white icing using tip #5 the eyes.
- With tip #4, and black icing pipe eyeballs.
- Fill-in the collar with white icing using tip#18 stars.
- With blue icing, and tip #19 stars, fill-in the hat.
- Using dark brown icing and tip #19 stars fill-in the head, over pipe eyebrow area and add pull-out stars at forehead.
- Pipe with tip #12 and yellow icing hat buckle.
- With tip #4 and black icing pipe eyebrows and string bow.
- Pipe lines on pumpkin using tip #2 with orange icing.
- Using tip # 1A with green icing, pipe using heavy pressure, an elongated ball of icing for steam.
- With green icing and tip #2 pipe vines; change the tip for tip #352 and pipe leaves.
- Add beak with yellow icing and tip #12, with heavy pressure pipe a ball shape for bottom beak, tapering off the end as you gradually decrease the pressure.
- Tuck tip on top and pipe a ball shape, tapering off the end decreasing the pressure.
- Using red icing with tip #12, using light pressure, pipe a line of icing alongside beak for wattle.
- With dark brown icing and tip #352 pull-out wing feathers.
