Sponge Chocolate Cake
This is a Sponge Chocolate Cake with brown sugar, it taste different than the regular ChocolateĀ Cake, it is soft and spongy, it is fill with a delicious Sponge Icing Chocolate and covered with the same filling Icing.
- Ingredients:
2 cups flour (special for cake) sift
ed before
1 tsp Baking Soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 cups of brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup butter (4 oz)
1 tsp vanilla
1cup milk
1tsp lemon juice (fresh)
2 square of unsweetened chocolate (melted)
3 eggs
- Procedure:
- Grease two 9" Round Pan
s, add 2 tbs of flour and shake.
- Turn oven 350 degree.
- Sift
together flour ,baking soda and salt.
- Add brown sugar,butter, and vanilla
- Mix the milk with the lemon juice and add to the mix.
- Use the electric mixer
and mix for 2 min.
- Add the eggs and the melted chocolate and mix for 2 more min.
- Pour batter into pan and place in the ovenĀ for 30 to 35 min.
- Prepare the sponge icing chocolate.
- Pour some icing on top of one cake, put the other cake on top and finish icing the cake with the same sponge chocolate icing.
