Buttercream Piping Robin Bird

Piping Robin Birds
Let’s Celebrate Spring! and learn the art of buttercream piping with this beautiful Robin Birds elaborated with icing; and decorate wonderful cakes giving a nice touch of spring; Decorate a Birthday Cake, Wedding or Anniversary Cake or a lovely Mother’s Day Cake with this fantastic birds using a buttercream piping technique.
How to pipe a Robin Bird
Robin Bird, make bags with the different colors (white, brown, black, orange and royal blue.

Robin Bird Step one
Step One: Fill a bag with white royal icing and press a heavy tier drop, to the side, to make the body of the bird.

Robin Bird Step two
Step two: Add a tail using a piece of uncooked spaghetti.

Robin Bird Step three
Step three: Use a tip # 233 (grass tip), pipe with white around the body of the bird or tier drop.

Robin Bird Step four
Step four: Using orange icing pipe chest of the bird, with tip #233(grass tip).

Robin Bird Step five
Step five: Pipe feathers with Royal Blue icing covering the tail and top of the body.

Robin Bird Step six
Step six: With white icing pipe a ball to make the head of the bird, on top of the orange color (the chest).

Robin Bird Step seven
Step seven: Pipe with white on front of the head to make the face of the bird.

Robin Bird Step eight
Step eight: With brown icing pipe feather around the head covering all around and on front making a hearth shape.

Robin Bird Step nine
Step nine: With brown icing pipe half of the wings.

Robin Bird Step ten
Step ten: Now with royal blue icing finish piping the wings.

Robin Bird Step eleven
Step eleven: Pipe the eyes with black and the beak with orange, and your bird is done!.
